The contributions MinCyT offers grants for software projects

The National Agency for Promotion of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, opened the invitation to submit projects that aim to strengthen the software SMEs by financing through contributions grant (ANR) between $ 180,000 and $ 800,000.

Will be managed by the Trust Fund for the Promotion of Software Industry (FONSOFT). and raise different initiatives:

Quality Certification: Under this type of projects should be aimed at improving the quality of software products or the improvement of the processes of creation, design, development and maintenance. May request up to $ 180,000 and will have 18 months contract period.
Development of new software products and processes: seeks to promote the development of products and processes, as well as placing on the market, excluding self-development activities. The maximum amount will be $ 600,000 with a period of 24 months for completion.
Precompetitive research and development of software products and processes: it is aimed at the complete formulation of a product or original process and its realization in a prototype. The initiatives may obtain up to $ 800,000 NRA to be executed over a period of 24 months.

In all cases, the amount of ANR requested can not exceed 50% of the total project cost. The deadline closes on 3 October.
