Paraguay: Lugo filed another petition before the Supreme Court
The deposed President Fernando Lugo on Wednesday introduced a new constitutional challenge before the Supreme Court of Justice of Paraguay, in this case against the decision of the Congress that separated him from his office on 22 June, in controversial impeachment.
Legal representatives of Lugo reported in a press conference that the action is based on the lack of argument from lawmakers to sentence the former president and remove him, reported news agency DPA.
